I have been wanting to know Ryans full story since book one of this Chapel Springs Romance series, and the author certainly did not disappoint me! In fact, I have really enjoyed this entire series. Dancing with Fireflies, book two, was previously my favorite of the booksbut now I can wholeheartedly say that Married til Monday has taken its place in my heart as my favorite of the four stories. If you havent read the other books in the series, you can still enjoy Married til Monday as a stand alone. I would definitely recommend the entire series, though, because it is just such a good one.

This book is, to me, so much more than just a romance. There is such hurt and heartbreak living inside these two characters. I absolutely LOVED the way the author did the flashbacks in this story. The reader gets multiple peeks back in time. Glimpses from Abbys childhood, Ryan and Abbys first time to meet, the beginning of their romance, the beginning of their marriage, and even the difficult dissolution of that same marriage. So many of the memories are wonderful, but just as many are completely crushing to read about. This book delves into some very serious issues and does so in a way that is tactful, yet truthful.

The current thread of the story is just as enjoyable as the flashbacks. Denise Hunter simply writes awesome tension into her books. The attraction, the anger, the frustrationit is palpable throughout the story and makes it seem so real. She also controls the story at the same time. As you can imagine, these two characters were once madly in love. As they begin to experience feelings toward each other again, and struggle with their attraction to each other, the author never lets things go to far.

Married til Monday is not only my favorite book in the seriesit has definitely made it onto my list of all-time favorite books. I highly recommend it to fans of contemporary romance.

What could possibly go wrong indeed? Just about everything as Ryan and Abby try to navigate being together while not really being together. And in the midst of the subterfuge they are confronted with way too many memories -- both good and bad.

An emotional read that kept me on tenterhooks right to the very end. After reading the other Chapel Springs Romance books I felt a real allegiance to Ryan. He was so earnest and endearing in his desire to reconcile with Abby. It about broke my heart.

Abby, on the other hand, claims to have moved on. She certainly doesn't want to open old wounds and risk even more pain. But Abby's past -- long before Ryan -- was riddled with pain. The kind she's still carrying around with her. It makes her prickly and unresponsive...at first.

Ryan's relentless pursuit makes him a truly swoonworthy hero. Abby's resistance is agonizing. She's too pragmatic -- "Whether he liked it or not, they dragged their failed marriage behind them like a noisy string of cans on a "Just Married" car." (p. 57) The whole story is a riveting 'one step forward, two steps back' kind of read. Hunter does a stunning job of portraying the crushing heartache of divorce and the desperate hope of reconciliation. And the fact that Ryan and Abby were married makes the whole romance edgier. There are so many undercurrents and delicious nuances that constantly simmer below the surface.

A breathtaking love story that rises from the bitter ashes of monumental loss.

I have only ever read a novella by Denise and I really liked that. So I was excited to read a full-length book by her. Can I just say this wont be my last?

Wow. She created a story with two characters that I was totally rooting for.

Abby is a very broken young women. She has turned her back on God and has nothing to cling to now except her career. Her family is a mess and she carries the wounds her father inflicted on her.

Ryan just wants his wife back. He doesnt really understand what happened, why their marriage ended. But as the layers are peeled back he begins to see what Abby has been carrying all these years.

This book is full of wonderful scenes that draw these two together. I love stories of hope in marriage and this book is definitely that. Its truly beautiful and I highly recommend this one.

I absolutely loved this book!!! My husband and I are on a cross-country trip so I have much time in the car to pass. I easily read Married till Monday in just a few hours. Denise Hunter is a gifted storyteller and I never miss a chance to read one of her books. They are always a guaranteed good read. This title was no exception.

Married till Monday is the last book in author Denise Hunters Chapel Springs Romance Series. I have only read one other book in the series, but I did not feel lost at all in this story. In fact, I am anxious to go back and read the other books I have missed because this one was so good. In Married till Monday, Denise Hunter does a magnificent job of writing relationship and emotion. Her characters, Ryan and Abby, spend a great amount of page time together. I love the way she brought the characters along in a believable and interesting story that left me unable to put this book down! This is the perfect summer read. Five stars from this book blogger!

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive, and oh how this applies, and yet did it? Abby McKinley has never told her parents of her divorce, and they still think she is married to Ryan.

When Abbys parents invite Ryan to their anniversary, without Abbys knowledge, they end up both going to the party. Ryan hitches a ride with Abby, just to make it look good. Yeah, right!

They pretend to be married, and Abby puts her ring back on, and what a show they put on. Now we go really deep into why they are no longer together, and some sad and terrible revelations come out. Abuse, verbal, physical, cant even imagine.

Will these two be able to heal, will they finally be able to put their broken lives back together, or will they finally accept that they are not to be?

This is a sweet broken love story, and kept me turning the pages, and hoping for the best. I was wondering how people could treat someone they are supposed to love as horribly as they did.

An enjoyable read that might open your eyes.

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.
