For those that say they don't like this, it is for children. I remember this coming on tv on Saturday nights over a decade ago. These are funny, on location, Christian history documentaries for children and families with a bent for homeschool. They even have a homeschool package. All the Drive Thru History videos are in order (which helps children see what is in their Bible come to life). I have an Autistic 10 year old, and he loves these. This is a very real way for me to show him that Jesus is in all of history, and how our founders believed God's Word. He loves the humor. Again, this isn't for those wanting a serious historical detailed account. This is a way to introduce history and God's Word to children of all ages. I would think the description and length of videos would make that clear. Anyway, I've enjoyed this for years, and hopefully the fact that they just came out with more episodes recently points the popularity of them. I cannot say enough! My Autistic son knows his history and loves history, and these videos helped him with that! THANK YOU DAVE STOTTS!

I grew up in Penn so recognized some of the places. Great way to teach our children and grandchildren the truth of our founding Fathers though I knew alot of this material I still learned some things. My favorite part was the quote "I am not a aristocrate nor a democrate I am a Christocrate" hard to water that down.

I wanted to write this review b/c of the reviewers who said the host's "humor" was distracting, corny. It's true, the humor is corny, but, for us, in a good way. We watch these shows to educate our children in an entertaining way. The corny humor adds an element of fun and lightheartedness for history education that could otherwise potentially be told in a very boring way. That said, all of the drive thru history dvds are packed with tons of detail and great visuals that make history come alive. We use them as a homeschool history supplement, and have watched them multiple times bc there is so much information to be learned.

This is a very informative dvd on America's founders. Yes, the narrator's humor is a bit corny- But, I believe these dvds were designed for kids and most kids will be ok with the humor. As an adult- please just bear with the narrator and ENJOY the history !! We had a group of mostly adults watching it and everyone liked it.

I recently found this DVD on clearance and thought it looked interesting. I showed it to my 2nd graders and they loved it! Everyday they kept asking to see more of the program. The information was accurate and most importantly biblical based. I would like to have the whole series.
