The 2-piece box is sturdy and contains 51 double-sided cards (101 verses + introduction card). There is a nature scene or landscape at the top and a verse from Proverbs at the bottom, on each side.

The print is in a readable font (maybe 12 point?), and the verses are taken from various translations. For example, Proverbs 7:2 is from the ESV, Proverbs 15:31 is from the NIV, and Proverbs 16:9 is from the NLT. I know many people have a favorite translation, but it can be very helpful to learn from other versions too — especially Proverbs, since they are so idiomatic (I am using these cards as part of my daily devotions).

The cards have a cream or buff-colored background with a thin dark red border, and a very faint scrolling at the top and bottom edges. Attractive, but not girly-girly — I think they would be suitable for many men too.

Also interesting - the images are just rotating stock photos, but for the most part, some care has been taken to match the photo to the verse. The verses listed above showed an apple tree branch, a whitewashed Irish sod house, and a curving path through the woods.

I marked down for quality a little only because there was a slight manufacturing flaw in the cards — a tiny "chad" at the top and bottom of each (I quickly trimmed them away with an X-acto knife). I think I would have been a little disappointed if they had been a gift.

Overall, a very good product for the price — I am looking forward to buying another box!

This is a good way to read a Proverb every day, which is especially good for young people to do. I appreciated this order so much that I am ordering 7 more to give away.
